Flo Milli - Roaring 20s

We open in black and white on a follow shot of a man in a black tuxedo.

He steps up to a piano on a white backdrop and begins to play the opening to “Roaring 20s”. We cut to a wider shot to reveal that he’s on stage at a magnificent theatre.

Camera pans off the piano player to the crowd, where we find Flo Milli dressed in a custom white suit. Around her are wealthy men in robber-baron style suit coats and hats.

From there we cut to a series of scenes showing Milli performing acts of hyper-masculinity. One-armed pushups with bad bitches sitting on her back. Throwing cash into a frenzied crowd. Driving these rich men crazy. All the while dancers move behind her, emphasizing the energy and empowerment of the music.

As she performs she’s interacting with the frenzied crowd. Their eyes pop out of their head and jaws hit the floor, she’s turned them into wild animals.

Between the first and second verses, a woman crosses stage with a cue card that reads “ACT 2”. At this time we’ll transition to the modern-day Milli, glammed out, now in full color. She performs the song in two setups. The first is set in her dressing room. She’s sitting with other female rappers as they’re attended to by beautiful men. She’s getting her toenails painted, the girls on her left and right are being fanned and fed grapes. For the next set up we’ll show her swinging over the crowd as they all try to reach up and grab her as she drops diamonds on them from above.

We’ll end on an elaborate dance number, and as we pull back the camera into the audience it’s revealed that all the men have had their pockets slashed and emptied. From there we’ll cut to the exterior of the stage, where a vintage Rolls Royce with Alabama plates waits for Milli. She exits through the stage’s back door and makes her escape.
